Kunal Shah is the owner and principal Orthotist and Prosthetist at Artus Prosthetics and Orthotics, with over 15 years of clinical experience across public hospitals and rehabilitation services in South Australia. A graduate of La Trobe University, Kunal is passionate about delivering high-quality, personalised prosthetic and orthotic care that improves mobility, independence, and quality of life.
Kunal has a special interest in lower limb prosthetic rehabilitation, complex lower limb orthotics, and clinical gait analysis. His expertise includes prosthetic rehabilitation, neurological conditions, complex foot and ankle management, diabetic foot care, spinal injuries, and paediatric orthotics.
Known for his practical and patient-focused approach, Kunal is committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for every client through innovative, evidence-based care. He is a member of the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association (AOPA) and maintains annual accreditation.
Jonah-Marc Attard serves as a Prosthetist/Orthotist at Artus. His journey in the field of prosthetics and orthotics began in Victoria, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics (Honours) from La Trobe University in 2024. Subsequently, he gained experience in the public health sector in Adelaide, where he developed essential skills in the assessment, manufacture, prescription and fitting of devices for a diverse clientele. This background has equipped him for his current role at Artus, which presents opportunities for further professional growth.
In his capacity, he collaborates with clients to assess, design, and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices that enhance mobility and independence. He derives satisfaction from resolving complex clinical cases and assisting individuals in achieving their functional and lifestyle goals. He chose this profession due to its blend of clinical practice, hands-on fabrication, and the chance to make a significant impact on people’s lives.
Janvi Pandya has been a member of the Artus team since 2024. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics from India, in addition to a Master’s degree in Health Services Management from the University of South Australia.
With her expertise in prosthetics and orthotics, she assists the clinicians with both technical and administrative tasks, ensuring that clients receive the highest standard of care. In her personal time, she enjoys discovering new cafés and spending leisure hours at the beach.
